This book is a carefully curated selection of art portraits from Lis Kasper’s extensive body of work. Lis herself has made the selection and chosen the layout, in a sense turning the book into an artwork in its own right. It presents beautiful yet dark motifs, inviting the viewer to return to them again and again.

Often, after I have taken their official portrait, I invite them to step into my world, where we create new characters within my visual universe.
